So we have reached the end of another month and I am still in shock at how quickly this year is going. For some reason I can’t keep up with how fast time is flying and how many wonderful things have happened over the space of the last few months. There is just so much for my brain to process all at once.
September was a wonderful reading month for me as I actually ended up reading a total of 8 books which is quite a lot given the other things I did during the month. Not only did I surpass what I expected of myself to read for this month, I am now only 7 books away from completing my goodreads reading challenge. I can’t believe that so far this year I have read 53 books and I am so close to completing my primary goal of 60. Hopefully I can aim to surpass this over the next month.
So in true Wrap Up style below I will list the books I have read this month and if you would like to find out more about them just click on the book title or cover. As I had such a good reading month I would most likely recommend all of these books, however click on the link and see how many stars I rated each book.
Now we will move onto my reading goals for the month of October. As this is the spookiest month of the year I am hoping to enjoy a few dystopian reads whilst curled up on the sofa with a nice warm mug of tea. Nothing beats the dark nights crawling in and a good scary book to match the mood.
I mentioned above that I am close to completing my goodreads challenge, and this will be my main focus for October, however there is no harm in enjoying the challenge. Therefore below I will list the books I am hoping to read during the month of October and I can safely say that I am already excited about this challenge.
So this month I am being a little ambitious with my TBR list, however I am determined to do well and read as much as I can. I am also very excited about these books and I am hoping that my determination will spur me on in my quest to read. Also halfway through the month there will be a read-a-thon that I am hoping to take part in, however I will post a little bit more about that over the weekend.
If you have read any of the books mentioned in the post please leave a comment and let me know what you think. Or equally if you have any recommendations, I would greatly appreciate it if you could leave a comment as I love finding new books to explore and read.
