So it begins again…
Is it just me or does anyone else notice the weekend flies in compared to the week. I understand the weekend is significantly shorter but I would give anything to be back on my sofa reading a book with a cup of tea instead of going to work.
So this week I will be playing catch up and working on lots of reviews I want to get up over the next few days not to mention finish of the last few pages of last week’s reads. I am determined to read a lot of books this month and so I must step up my game.
This week I am hoping to read The Sham by Ellen Allen. This follows the story of Emily Heath, an 18 year old girl wanting the leave her town with her boyfriend. However she can’t leave as her boyfriend is ill, his body is failing not to mention he is counted as a suspect for a murder that happened only months before. The same signs are beginning to appear around town and people are getting suspicious that another murder is about to happen. Emily must decide who she trusts and follow her instincts as people start pinning blame on Jack.
This book sounds very exciting and mysterious, I’m really looking forward to reading it and think it will be the perfect October read as the dark nights draw in and the temperature begins to drop.
To try and keep up my pace and read lots of books this October I am hoping to read another book this week. Prodigy by Marie Lu will hopefully bring me up to speed on this trilogy. Following on from Day and June’s battle in the first book, Legend, I cannot wait to continue this plot and see where it goes. If you want to find out a little bit more about the series please click on Legend and it will take you to the review of the first book. I am hesitant to write much about Prodigy as it may ruin the first book for anyone interested in reading it.
Once again it looks like I have a busy week ahead of me with work, classes and reading. No doubt it will be fun too so I hope everyone has a great reading week and don’t forget to have some fun!
