Daily Reads #24

Welcome to the working week Readers.

Monday always flies around too soon and before I know it I’m sat back at my work desk. However, Mondays can never be bad when you’ve had a brilliant weekend and in particular I made a great dent in my reading for this month. With that in mind keep checking back for some new reviews over the next few days.

This week I am hoping to continue my success and read at least one more book. I was hoping to start The Fifth Wave by Rick Yancey, however it was never delivered and I can’t understand why?! It always happens when you are really looking forward to reading a book. Although it isn’t a great loss as I can continue with reducing my TBR shelf before The Fifth Wave’s very long and very much anticipated arrival.

So this week I am hoping to finish off my book’s from the weekend and hopefully start a new one. With a week and a half left I need to make the most of my reading and reach my goals for this month. I am incredibly busy this week and worry I will not have enough time to read in-between everything else. However I am one of those people who worry when there is so much to do yet I worry even more when I have nothing to do.

14061955I am hoping to start Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo. I really enjoyed Shadow and Bone, which is the first book in the Grisha Trilogy and I cannot wait to see which direction the plot goes in. The first book was a whirlwind of emotions, a fast and exciting plot and a handful of likeable characters. If you want to read more about this book, click on the book cover or title to read my review. I would definitely recommend Shadow and Bone to anyone that enjoys dystopian or magical novels. 10194157

I hope everyone has a fantastic reading week!
