What Lovely Books Read–A-Thon TBR

I’m so very excited for my first read-a-thon of 2015, I’m hoping it will make a massive dent in my already huge reading challenge of 80 books this year. I’m hoping to be able to beat 2014’s total of 64 books and I know 80 will be a bit tough but I’m always ready for a challenge.

Anyway onto the books I plan on reading for the What Lovely Books Read-A-Thon. This weekend not only does this read-a-thon start but so does the Bout Of Books read-a-thon so I will be posting two separate TBR’s. As there are two read-a-thon over the same week I will be picking two books for each challenge and try my best to get through them or even start them. I think the latter will at least be a possibility as it is the start of a new year and motivation is high for the mean time.

This year I have created a TBR Jar in the hope that I will be able to tackle my ever growing TBR piles. I have never made a TBR Jar but I am very excited to try it out as I love the mysterious aspect to what I could end up reading each month. So onto my very first draw and to reveal the two books I plan on reading for the What Lovely Books Read-A-Thon.

I picked out,

The Cuckoo’s Calling – Robert Galbraith

Prodigy – Marie Lu

untitled (23)

I am very happy with my choices as I have had these books on my shelves for a very long time and despite having them featured on many TBR lists I just haven’t gotten round to reading them due to one reason or another.

Also I would never have picked these two books by myself so already I think this TBR Jar will be an interesting way to spend the year.

I hope you all have a successful read-a-thon, comment below if you are taking part and what your reading choices are for the week.
