Weekend Read-A-Thon TBR

I posted yesterday about the Trees of Reverie Read-a-thon and the National Readathon Day happening today and despite being in work for most of today I plan on reading on Saturday night and Sunday.

This weekend I plan on continuing with reading Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer. It’s a really interesting read but unfortunately I haven’t gotten very far into it. I will need to concentrate on finishing this book before the end of January.

I am also planning on reading the second book in the Maus series by Art Spiegelman. I loved reading the first book at the start of the month and I can’t wait to see what happens next for Vladek in a Nazi occupied Germany. I love graphic novels and find them easy to read so this will be a great book for when I want something a bit different over the weekend.

I’m sorry this is such a short post but I don’t have a lot of time right now. Good luck to those participating in the read-a-thons; I hope it is a good one!

Happy Weekend!
