It’s been so long since I’ve done a weekend reads post so I’m excited to get back into it. Trust that the weekend I decide to start back into blogging and give it all I’ve got I end up sick with a throat and ear infection. However it means while I’m recovering I can enjoy some time with my books.
This weekend I will be focusing on posting my review for The Sandman by Neil Gaiman, a graphic novel that helped to ease me back into reading. Over the past year I have really sparked an interest in graphic novels so during the week I went out and bought Saga by Fiona Staples and Brian K.Vaughan. This has been recommended to me on so many occasions so I can’t wait to get started into it. It shouldn’t take me too long, as I’m hoping to get a good few couple of hours this weekend to just read and wind down.
The other book I want to focus on over the weekend is Where She Went by Gayle Forman. I started reading this book a few weeks ago, however I want to start reading it again from the start. There’s nothing I hate more than only half reading a book and trying to pick it up again and get the feel of it from where you left off, especially if there’s a big gap in-between.
Well I hope everyone is having a lovely bank holiday weekend. Unfortunately I will be working this Mayday bank holiday but I’m looking forward to relaxing.
Happy Reading!
