Weekend Reads #51

Weekend Reads Picture

Hey Readers,

Sorry for being quiet for most of the week but I have been super busy, I’m excited for this weekend because last weekend was surreal for me. We did so much in Paris and visited everywhere that by the time I got home all I wanted to do was sleep. Hopefully this weekend will be a little quieter; I’m hoping to spend it in a pile of books and endless cups of tea.

I’m hoping to concentrate this weekend on The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han and starting Always the Bridesmaid by Lindsey Kelk. These are two great books that make me wish it was summer already; they also make me reflect on my life when I was growing up and also how it is now. The Summer I Turned Pretty is about a girl growing up through the summer holidays which I desperately miss. Whilst Always the Bridesmaid focuses on being older and the situations that can face an individual, it’s told in a humorous and relatable way which I love and always have in Lindsey Kelk’s books. Both books are addictive and easy to read and I can’t wait to spend my free time this weekend reading them.

Anyway have a great weekend and I hope June is starting off well for everyone.

Keep on reading!
