Happy Weekend Everyone!
It’s hard to believe we are into September; this year is really flying by. I am already looking forward to walks in the forest as the autumn comes in and the trees look beautiful. This weekend despite having plans I want nothing more than to lose myself in one of the many amazing books I am hoping to read this month.
I am nearly finished To All the Boy’s I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han and it has been a real struggle to put this book down because it is just so good. It follows Lara Jean who writes letters to the boys who have captured her heart and stores them in her room never to see the light of day. By writing these letters she lets her feelings escape being completely honest and releasing it all on paper. However things take an unexpected turn and her crushes receive their letters leaving them no option but to confront Lara Jean. I think I will have this book finished and a review up over the weekend so check back for that.
Also I would like to start reading The Martian by Andy Weir as it has been made into a film which will be launching in the UK at the end of the month. I am really excited to read this book and watch the film as it follows a man stranded on Mars and what he does to survive as he is threatened by losing oxygen, water or equipment failure. Space exploration is something that really interests me and with talks over the past year of travelling to Mars becoming a real possibility I am intrigued to see how it is portrayed in the novel.
So it looks like I have a great reading weekend ahead of me, don’t forget to check back for some posts and have an amazing weekend.
