Daily Reads #60

Welcome back readers and can you believe its October.  We have reached my favourite time of the year; I love the colours and the cosy evenings. Unfortunately last week I was bogged down with lots to do, my little cat was unwell and I was ill, talk about a test of patience. Now that I’m back on my feet and my cat on her four paws it’s back to the books.

This week as we’re starting of a new month I will be beginning my October TBR list with a few good books. This week I want to read Just One Day by Gayle Forman, I started this book last month but never got it finished. This month I want to read this book as I really liked the characters and who wouldn’t love a book set in Paris. As I went to Paris this year I love revisiting the different areas and the charming settings.

As well as this I want to start the graphic novel series Chew by John Layman and Rob Guillery. My friend bought me this as a gift after telling me how amazing it is so I can’t wait to give it a go, I’m sure it will be amazing.

Sticking with graphic novels I also want to read the second volume of The Sandman by Neil Gaiman, after reading the first one I was a bit confused and hadn’t fully understood what the plot was about but once I put it down I couldn’t stop thinking about it and knew that I wanted to continue the series. I have been told that this volume introduces new characters, all the more mysterious and intriguing so I can’t wait to see how the plot unfolds.

I’m also hoping to see The Martian movie this week, would anyone recommend it? Does it stick to the book?

Hope you all have a great reading week!
