I was spoilt this Christmas and got so many new releases on my wish list, I am very excited to read them and I keep saying in all of my previous posts how I want to just start them so I wanted to share my new editions. If you have read any of these it would be great to hear what you think, I am particularly looking forward to reading Colson Whitehead’s The Underground Railroad because it made such an impact with its release last year. It will definitely be getting bumped up the TBR over the next few weeks.
The Underground Railroad – Colson Whitehead
Swing Time – Zadie Smith
The Girls – Emma Cline
Born a Crime – Trevor Noah
According to Yes – Dawn French
Station Eleven – Emily St John Mandel
Scrappy Little Nobody – Anna Kendrick
A Court of Thorns and Roses – Sarah J Maas
A Court of Mist and Fury – Sarah J Maas
The Thousandth Floor – Katherine Magee
Illuminae – Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff
Fahrenheit 451 – Ray Bradbury
Ninevah – Henrietta Rose – Innes
Orphan X – Gregg Hurwitz
We Should All Be Feminists – Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
I have already read We Should All Be Feminists as I was really looking forward to this book. It is a small concise essay that really packs a punch with why feminism is needed. It amazed me how much is overlooked on a day to day basis from a simple sentence to a stereotypical thought. Everyone should read this.

Fahrenheit 451 is amazing! I really want to read Scrappy Little Nobody too.
I’ve never read it but heard so much about it! So many books refer to Fahrenheit 451! I can’t wait to read them both!
