Happy Weekend Readers!!
I hope your week has gone smoothly and with little stress, it’s always nice to see Friday approaching because not only is there a sense of relief that the weekend is upon us but there is also that feeling of accomplishment that we’ve made it through another week.
Once i finish work this weekend I will definitely be spending my time relaxing, it’s that time of the year, it’s just cold, and I want to be cosy. So i’m hoping to make the most of my books and coffee before heading back on Monday.
This weekend I want to focus on reading A Girl’s Best Friend by Lindsey Kelk, I have really been looking forward to reading this book and I couldn’t wait to receive it in the post. Until now I haven’t had the time to devote to this book but I will be making time over the weekend, it is the perfect chick-lit and I just know it will leave me in fits of giggles. I can’t wait to hold this book in one hand and maybe a cheeky glass of wine in the other on Saturday night.
If I get the chance I might also move on to another Christmas novel, I can’t help getting excited at this time of the year for the festive season and I just love books and movies set around the Christmas holiday. To be honest, I’m a sucker for Christmas but everything looks beautiful and people seem that little bit happier, it’s just such a nice time of the year to spend with loved ones and I enjoy buying gifts for my friends and family that I know they will enjoy. So it may still be November but there’s no harm in getting in the Christmas spirit early.
